Digital Drama have produced a series of community zine-making workshops for English Heritage as part of the Forewarned is Forearmed Cold War project in York.
Working with York-based zine and collage maker George Willmore (@Sub.Spacer) in Acomb and central York, participants learnt about York’s Cold War Bunker and the volunteer Royal Observer Corps who ran it.
Using images from the Bunker and collage-making material from the 1950s-80s, new zines were created to reflect life during this time in recent history.
