What the Sea Saw image for performance

In commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the 1954 Scarborough lifeboat disaster, What The Sea Saw captures true memories of growing up in a tight-knit fishing community and interweaves eye-witness accounts with acapella song to uncover the extraordinary events of that night, told in the words of those who were there.

The project is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to the National Lottery players.
